VeloWorx membership consists of Thirteen Elite cat 1 & Pro men and 20 Competitive men & women mountain bike racers. Members compete at all levels from category 2 to pro level in state, national and international races. We are a unique and interesting group of individuals with a great majority of whom are self-employed and/or are small business owners. The bond and camaraderie amongst the members is strong. Our team appreciates and values the support of our sponsors and welcomes new buisnesses to our racing family. Members understand the importance of sponsors and take their obligation to positively represent them seriously. Our team’s obligation is to market our sponsor’s products or brand by competing at our best, winning or stepping on the podium all the while exhibiting good sportsmanship and acting as positive role models. Art McFarland (Mtn. Bike Manager)
Art is a Level II USA Cycling certified coach and active racer on both the mountain and road. Art is also an accomplished multi day endurance racer having completed such events as TransRockies, BC Bike Race, Cape Epic, La Ruta de los Conquistadores, TransMexicana and Baja Epic. Over the past 10 years, Art has coached State Champions in various disciplines (Criterium, TT, and MTB) and currently coaches from Cat 1 to Cat 5 Road racers and Pro to Beginner level MTB
Paul Broaderip (Mtn. Bike Manager)
Paul began cycling in his childhood and has continued through adulthood with various competitive sports. In 2007, he began competitively racing mountain bike and road races. He has since become an elite Cat 1 rider.
Steve Hughes (Mtn. Bike Manager)
Steve has the most experience of all the managers, but donʼt let his age fool you, he can still beat most of the younger competitorʼs times.
